Germany has the Fox Bonus, and the HD Transfer for Part 2.

Crying shame that part 1 and 2 at the very least, do not have a proper Blu Ray release here or in the US. Would love a stacked special edition.

They didnt come back for the sequel so I consider these the core 3 because they remained as family.

Watched the first 2 films over the last couple of days and neither really impresses, the first one, in particular, has some awful moments and feels like a parody of a dozen better films. The second one at least tries to be a bit more fun with the added violence being a bonus. Glad I opted for the UK release and didn't bother with the German one as honestly they look fine and at £13 for the 4 films it's not bad at all. Looking forward to parts 3 and 4 as the best aspect of the series so far was the action scene on the reservation.

I always liked the 1st 3 BOTB movies, 4th not so much. I had the first 2 on DVD and have the Best Buy release of 3 and always wanted to get blurays of the first 2. Ended up ordering the ones from the UK but then I found this thread mentioning the German Nameless media complete collection set. Found a seller on eBay Germany that will send it to me here in the US. Can't wait to get that set! It was definitely expensive but worth the price if it's as good as it sounds.

So are the transfers on the uk set the same as the echo bridge blu rays? Is this set a good alternative to the oop echo bridge releases? I assume it's region free from what I've seen in this thread

Can't compare to the EB release but the UK release is pretty damn good, all four films look good and considering that you can get it for £13 makes it a steal.

Man...I just cannot find #2 anywhere (at least, a region-free version that will work on my USA blu-ray player.) The UK version is still available on Amazon, but it doesn't help me.

I've heard that the German 1-4 set is region free. I've looked on Ebay, Amazon.de, and nothing is turning up. Anyone know of another way to get it, or #2 by itself?

You would be better off getting the US DVD of part 2.

We need someone to come along and release part 1 and 2 in 4K.

Tell that to the studios and labels that have the power to release these on a modern format

I went into the electronics section of my Wal*mart recently to see if they had 4Ks for sale. Not only did they not, they also had no blu-ray. It was 100% DVD.

I felt like I had to ask someone in charge why every TV on the back wall was a 4K TV, and mere feet away, all of the movies for sale were 480p. Rather absurd IMO, but that's how it is.
