Are there any special features to speak of here? Just wondering. I haven't seen (or even thought about) this film since I was about 12. From what I remember, it is a pretty good 80s comedy. At any rate, this is one that I'll be picking up. Be nice to revisit it on Blu after so many years.

I was in Walmart this morning buying some food, so I took a walk back to the movie/video games section and they had it so I grabbed it. I got the last copy. This officially marks the first time I've ever went into Walmart to pick up one of their exclusives and they actually had it. A red-letter day indeed!

They take a lot of heat around here for using old masters and rightfully so for their old video meddling habits, but to their credit, they get a lot of the little stuff right. |

I'm confused by this site's review. The movie gets a 4.5; video is 4.0; the sound is 2.0; and the special features are 0. Overall is a 2.5 , but comes recommended by the reviewer. Er... What? If a movie to me is 2.5 overall, I wouldn't even waste a 'Firestick' view on it at all.

For $7.50 I'll take a quality a/v presentation like this anytime. Could care less about a menu. And nobody is spending money producing special features for 99.9% of catalog releases in 2017, much less a title like this. Last edited by DMRI2006; 02-15-2017 at 01:46 AM. |

It is quite amusing to have the film just loop when finishing; what starts as a dream could soon turn into a nightmare...
Anyway, entertaining fluff; mostly holds up (even with flaws in logic, and just the dated 80s nature) and the image is solid enough. Audio was fine; I'm not really an expert in this field so I'll defer to the review, but it's hardly a movie that needs to kill it in that department. So yes, fine. And even though there are zero extras at least there's subtitles. |

What's amusing is this was a movie that savaged by critics when it opened and was deemed a box-office disappointment too. In hindsight, though, it seems so much more substantial than the idiotic, bodily-fluid R-rated comedies of today, as Martin Leibman's review on the site discusses. Good fun.
