Robert, you just said in one simple line what I wrote in an entire book.

My Panny 3D player just bit the dust, so the UP90 can't come soon enough!

Go to Monoprice online and buy their high speed cable. It's less than $5 and their products are great.

The Monoprice you want is the Premium Certified HDMI cable.

That's because that's all that has been listed on their website since it went up, and the spec sheet Robert posted shows the same. I believe Robert has asked his LG contacts for any further updates on apps and their HDR support, but I don't think they've given him any more info yet.

Yes, this is correct, but I am waiting for confirmation of all of the Smart apps the player will have at launch. LG also has an app store so it's possible the users can add more apps and if not at launch hopefully soon after launch.

Here's the update. At launch, which is expected end of March, the player will ship without any apps. However, Netflix and YouTube Smart streaming updates are schedule for mid April.

No answer on what additional Smart streaming apps will be added, but several are expected to be added later in the year.

Gonna buy from Best Buy when they get it. Been wanting to ditch the damn X1S for a while now, has handshake issues with C6P on every 3D disc and HDR problems on some 4K titles.
