I agree, The rest of the signature editions have plain artwork and boring backgrounds. I liked the artwork on the Diamond Edition, but Bambi's head was way too big.

Any opinion on Bambi 2? If it's really just 10 bucks for a second blu-ray and a halfway decent film, I'll go for it. For the record, I enjoyed Simba's Pride; and found Cinderella 3 and Mulan 2 both rewatchable. I saw Pocahontas 2 but I haven't rewatched it in years.

Since you like Simba's Pride, Cinderella 3 and Mulan 2 I'm pretty sure you will enjoy Bambi 2 as well. Plus I think Bambi 2 is one of the good Disney sequels along with the sequels that you mention. I can't say anything about Pocahontas 2 it's been years I haven't watch it and I owned since it's on the Pocahontas blu-ray.

Cool. Question though, it keeps trying to charge me for the lithograph. Anyone have that happen before? Could it be because I have the free VIP pin in my cart?

It might not be one of the BEST STV sequels but it's better than Cinderella 3 and Mulan 2, so you'd be safe.

While it's definitely one of the less awful ones. I wouldn't watch it if your obsessed with the original movie's subtly and drama. It's essentially a 90 minute television episode of Bambi if it ran on Disney Jr.
I honestly wouldn't recommend any of the direct to video Disney sequels, but if you must, again there are certainly worse.

Clip show, not really. It was almost like Disney was going to do a TV show like Aladdin or Hercules or something but it never happened but they had already produced 3 episodes to try and get it greenlit so they just released them as a movie where a character was telling stories about things that have happened after they first movie... like Atlantis: Milo's Return.

That's exactly what happened. Same with Belle's Magical World, Atlantis 2: Milo's Return, Hercules: Zero to Hero and Tarzan & Jane, but in the case of the last two, the tv series still became a reality. Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast were cancelled before they aired because Disney was not happy with the quality and Atlantis was a casualty of the movie being a huge box office bomb. In the case of Beauty and the Beast, the movie was three episodes but four were produced. The movie was extended for its DVD release to include the other episode.

What made them think a Cinderella tv show would work? Her story is a little finite, unless they wanted to rely on the mice... At least Ariel had an entire ocean to explore.

My take on Cinderella II is that it's all fanfiction? It starts out with Jaq and Gus Gus being sad that they missed out on the Fairy Godmother retelling the Cinderella story, and then she's like "Well you can come up with more stories based on these characters!" and that's the premise of the movie.

Like I don't even know if the events in this movie are supposed to be canon or taken as real, since they're made up there on the spot. Or maybe I'm reading too much into a DTV.

That said, I love Cinderella III because it's insane. Cinderella time-travels. What more could you want in a movie!

How about the King's wife looking like Anastasia? That was a riot.

I've never seen Bambi 2, but I've heard that it's alright. I guess I will get the 2 movie pack if the original Bambi is gonna be a signature collection. Because right now I'm complete with all 3 films ( Pinocchio being a BB exclusive. )

They put that same tomato sticker on Pinocchio. I guess you have to convince the youth these days that the old movies are worth seeing.

It says "And More!" so I would assume that it could be on there.
