American Mummy AKA Aztec Blood 3D Blu-ray (2014) [Region A Locked]

Even with their minimal budget, they could have done so much more with the set up they present. A straight supernatural slasher movie with an undead mummy going around killing the cast one by one would have been much more entertaining than what we got. They had a nice desert setting but don't utilise it to create any spooky atmosphere in the night scenes or use the sense of isolation to add tension. Shame such strong 3D is wasted on such a weak movie.

I wonder how much money the industry would have made it American Mummy was NOT in 3D? It's a thought.

I was also hoping they would have gone on a horror adventure through the desert into an underground tomb for the whole film to confront the mummy, but it was mostly in the base camp...

Not sure what to say about this one. Only bought it because it costed me only a few dollars and its 3D. Will never watch this again, at least sober.
