Don't think Universal has ever done one so probably slim chance, but there's a first time for everything. Worst case if you already have the lenti, just put that over the UHD and call it a day.

Doubtful but you can peel the lenticular off the blu and attach it to the 4k if you so desire

That's because your toilets flush the wrong way. Serves you right for having backwards gravity.

Default No Dolby Vision?

Too bad Universal is not including Dolby Vision along with HDR10 on this disc. I have noticed that the first Universal UHD discs with DV will be available in June.

You better know the movie is 2005 years. DV is developed by 2013 years.

You're right too bad! GRRRowl in DTS-X listen in your room whoa!

this was on cabletv a while ago and I was then reminded of just how good the soundtrack is, the surround is amazing in this and on cabletv too. I can only imagine the potential of the DTS:X soundtrack this is gonna have and how it will enhance my love for this movie even more!

Default Man, this same version on blu-ray is on sale for $7.99

I bought the bare-bones BB exclusive pop-art one for $7.99 last year though so this will be worth an upgrade for sure.

It's not the same. That one still carries DTS-HD MA and this new one delivers a new DTS:X track

I don't see the relevance at all of your point. HDR10 is a recent development but catalogue releases like Independence Day, Unforgiven, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, etc, and even more recent movies like Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, etc, have received a fresh HDR grade for their 4K debuts. There's nothing stopping Universal from choosing to release it in Dolby Vision, apart from not being bothered enough to do a DV pass.

Was SO tempted to buy the 3-disc BD for $8 with Mummy movie cash, but Imma hold strong for this release...

That lenti slipcover is a thing of beauty though.

Which they somehow derived new height channel audio cues - there's always been rear center sound as it theatrically went out in Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES sound; this is the first home video release that used those audio stems to create a wider 360 degree soundscape

Really wished they had kept the lenticular slipcover from the regular Blu-ray version that was just released earlier this year.

It still says Rec 2020 HDR10 in the specs, along with BD100 (triple layer). Hmmmm.
