It's getting good reviews overall apparently and Zac is the MVP of the movie

But still not a Sundance hit

I'm happy for Zac anyway, he deserves to get better roles.. I hope this movie helps him and his career

Yeah apparently Efron shines, the film less so much.

It's just movies such as Grace she has below-average material.

Anyways, back to the movie at hand. I'm really excited about this. As I said, I'm a Zac fan, and I've liked pretty much all his previous work that I've seen, whether drama or comedy. And I very much think that this is an excellent casting situation. Plus, although this is probably something I shouldn't admit, I do generally like stories about serial killers -- even more so when they are true stories. Not sure what that says about me.
Agreed. Can’t wait to see Destroyer.

Not sure how anyone could forget one certain scene in ‘The Paperboy’.

Lots of positive talk about this one from Sundance. I got to say, after binge watching the Ted Bundy tapes on Netflix this past weekend, I'm super pumped for this movie. I highly recommend for everyone to watch the documentary on Netflix, it's really good and insightful.

Also it’s directed by Joe Berlinger who also directs this movie!

My Favourite Efron performance so far is still We Are Your Friends, I love that movie and he's great in it.

I don't know if I want to watch a movie about Ted Bundy that has a tone and tenor that isn't all that dissimilar to something like My Cousin Vinny or Find Me Guilty.

Unfortunately, I didn't find the Netflix docuseries all that compelling. It was sort of a retread of everything that came before it. But, if you're not familiar with Bundy's life and crimes, it serves as a good companion piece to this film.

Then I guess Zac Efron really nailed it. Too likable? Well, yeah. That's how serial killers, especially Ted Bundy, lure people. That's the point.

EXACTLY. He used his charm and good looks to lure his victims. Hell, the ****ing FBI and police didn't even know it was him, because of his looks.

Yeah, the FBI know better nowadays. Where as at that time, they were still trying to find their footing.

I think a younger Rob Lowe or Tim Daly really look like Bundy and would’ve been great as far as physical appearances go.

This part of the documentary gave me chills, and I had nightmares because of it

They did back then too. Netflix hasn't changed anything except widen the man's exposure.

Flaskan is right. Hybristophilia is nothing new. A large number of women became attracted to Bundy after his arrest. The same thing happened with Manson, Ramirez, and even Dahmer. What I don't get is why them? All are average-looking at best. Bundy has a unibrow for Christ's sake!
