"LRG makes as many games as there are pre-orders for, within a two week period" With Switch they changed to a two-week open pre-order. That’s how they are handling ALL Switch games. But I suppose you didn’t know that. ![]() |

![]() And yes, my only complaint is it will be more expensive from LRG. I have no problem buying from LRG when it’s a game that would not otherwise get a physical release due to the studio being small and not affording it. But Playtonic prooved they can afford it since they released it themselves physically on X1 and PS4. So they don’t get my money, because they are being cheap and lazy. I already ordered Saturday Morning RPG and I’ll order Night Trap as soon as it becomes available (and maybe Golf Story, not sure yet), but not this game. What Playtonic should have done, if they cared at all about their fans, is let Nicalis do it. Nicalis releases indie games for other studios, similar to LRG, except they put them in retail stores so you can get that retailer discount. Last edited by Scarface32; 06-12-2018 at 03:51 PM. |

Man, Thimbleweed Park definitely looks nice despite me not wanting to play the game at all haha.
Seeing the nice quality of LRG is cool, think I'm definitely gonna go for Cosmic Star Heroine when it's available, though still not sure if I'm gonna double dip on Golf Story yet |

Ordered Oxenfree and West of Loathing today. I was on the fence about both of them but since there's a half-day window of both being available at the same time, I decided to go for it as I could pay half the shipping ordering them together...
I also bought Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime from Super Rare Games, and the Undertale Collector's Edition from Fangamer recently... I need to stop, lol.. Looking forward to Golf Story and Dust An Elysian Tail...! |

Golf Story link is up. Goes on sale on 9/28 for $29.99.
![]() https://limitedrungames.com/products...story-preorder I do hope people picked up Dust. It really is an amazing game worth buying. It's one of my favorite downloadable PS4 games. |

Layers of Fear is up for preorder Friday. This is a really solid horror game. It's $40, but comes with a bunch of cool extras. Looks like an art book and soundtrack, with special case.

Their quality control sucks. I have two games by LRG, Saturday Morning RPG and Night Trap. With SMRPG there is a glitch that randomly freezes my game. I informed the owner of LRG and he said "I can’t reproduce it, so I’m not going to bother to release a patch"
As for both games, the so-called "manual" is just a few pages of picture and text. They aren’t actual manuals. Now if you compare them to Nicalis, you’ll see the difference. Nicalis includes manuals that are actual manuals. I’ll never buy another LRG, they aren’t putting in any extra work to demand such a price hike compared to the digital version. |

So on their releases LRG's are responsible for patching? I would figure the original developers would be. Are there instances of the digital releases being on different patch numbers than these physical releases? That seems odd to keep them separate and I wouldn't think LRG's even has a way to patch. I'm sure they just forward it on to the original dev team anyway.
Unless something good comes up I absolutely need, this will probably be my only release I get from them. Both owners kind of rub me the wrong way on Twitter. Douglas just seems like a try hard and Josh loves to talk every couple of days about how good they treat their workers. |

![]() It’s not like other games where they aren’t the developers, they are for that game. All you had to do was Google the game title and you would have known. (Mighty Rabbit Studios and Limited Run Games are owned by the same people) |
