After that very predictable flop it's no surprise they went with a sure seller like this one to boost their sales

Has anyone submitted an entry to the database yet?

Well, The Incredibles sure wasn't a sure seller for Kimchidvd. As I recall, it took quite a while for their editions to sell out.

Relatively speaking, this is a sure seller compared to We Are X

It's a nice-loooking steel, although I'm still partial to my Viva Metal Case from the now-defunct Future Shop.

Seems like a strange move to re-release this film on blu-ray now, though, with (I'm assuming?) no improvements to either the encode or supplements. With a sequel finally on the horizon, personally I'm going to wait for the 4K re-release. Only other thing that would make me double-dip on this before 4K is if Pixar chose to exhume their fabled, completed 3-D conversions of the remaining catalog titles.

The only time I've seen a Mondo steelbook actually fit the movie.

Default Yeah… I don't like it.

It's already an animation with its own aesthetic. To represent it with a completely different one feels wrong to me - especially with Pixar being so identifiable. Mondo is better suited to live action material because then it just looks like a highly stylised poster.

I think you missed the point of the art choice in this steelbook as it’s reminiscent of the vintage style used in the credits of the film.

Nah, I think that's just their style. It's pretty much the same on The Jungle Book one.

Don't believe the hype. If there are only 100 left they are having no problem selling them, if they are having no problem selling them then why would they need to send emails to generate sales.

also total recall can be had off of eBay for <$25

In Zavvi-speak 100 is code for 1000.

No kidding, I do like how those emails make you think they value your money over everyone elses though. "Theres only 100 left and they're going fast but we really wanted you to have one"

Zavvi have never been able to count. Reflects badly on the UK educational system.
