As stated above, that is an ITV release, not Criterion.
ITV hold UK rights to the film.

The US VHS release was titled as such. Some countries like Italy, and Mexico also had the title that translated to that.

The ITV releases of Red Shoes, Black Narcissus and Colonel Blimp also used the same master wich were used on the Criterion editions. So Ill reckon they do the same with this one.

Criterion used Sony's new master. ITV may not have access to it. The ITV master is the one on the French and German releases and is seriously inferior.

Bought during B&N sale in July. Started watching October 8, 2018. Disc freezes d

[Show spoiler]uring the trial scene near the end. When the camera goes to the judge's face, disc freezes and then skips and freezes

Was playing on OPPO BDP-103D. Tried on Panasonic blu ray player and same problem.

Wondering if anyone else had issues or gotten replacements?

I watched mine tonight on my Oppo 203 and it played fine from start to finish. I am sorry that your copy appears to be defective, but I have not found any other complaints about this disc; your incident appears to be an isolated one. I am confident that Criterion will assist you with a replacement.
