I had never heard of this flick, but what a nice surprise it has been. I was expecting some sort of horror, but I reckon it belongs more to the drama compartment.
Anyway, beautiful movie, great 4k/HDR. The cinematography is stunning, with a very distinctive use of light.
P.s. I think it's wiser not to watch the trailer before this movie. I never do, btw.

It's a very underrated release for sure. One of the only two releases from Magnolia on this format and both underperformed in sales which unfortunately means there are no more releases from them. But that's the nature of indie labels these days; they do much better releasing older catalogue titles.

Really glad to hear this! I don't even remember how I first found out about this film, but I've still never seen it and *finally* got around to ordering it in the current B2G1 sale at Target. I don't know anything about it (other than the overview from the listing), but these comments have me excited to watch it.

Just caught this myself.
Echo the recent sentiments on this thread - a hidden gem and a VERY strong UHD.
Depressing this thread only managed to get 5 pages 4/5 years after release.
I can only hope it's because not many have heard about it.
Just go buy it.
