Thanks for confirming that it happens only once. Like I said, I didn't check back, but assumed it'd happen more than once.
Stuff like this is one of my pet peeves though, so it still is an issue with me. Others have a problem with slightly different framing where I don't see an issue at all - different folks... Of course I'd watch it, but I don't want to own such a disc and usually it prevents me from buying. It's also a matter of where my money goes and I don't want to support this practice of German labels. (mind you that I live in Germany)

No HDR, no digital copy, no slipcover--no problem! Watched this last night and loved it. It was a true blind buy as I had no idea what the movie was about and it had me hooked from start to finish. I feel like it didn't quite stick the landing, but otherwise this was one of the more entertaining movies I've seen in a while.
Much like Neon Demon, I couldn't help but wonder how this would look with an HDR grade, but I was still impressed with the disc. I actually cheated a bit and forced "Dolby Vision" through the Oppo, so maybe that gave it a bit more pop and depth than it would otherwise have had, but I liked the movie enough and am curious enough about a legit HDR pass that I might just have to double dip and import the German version. As it is, I thought things help up well for such a dark picture. I thought the movie was quite lush and the disc handles it well.
So don't let the lack of HDR scare you away from this one. It looks good and is a kick ass movie.
The HDR grade looks so good though! I’m so thankful for the German UHD (since I also loved the movie).
I have it in my cart from Amazon Germany as I type this. Close to pulling the trigger. I feel like this is a movie I'm going to revisit regularly (especially thanks to that perfect runtime!) so the costly double dip may be justified.

Sorry for the bump, this is reassuring. just blind bought this from a gent selling his whole 4k collection on here. this definitely looks so good but the marketing was nihl and I forgot it existed!
To me, Hotel Artemis is Jodie Foster's worse movie. I'm surprise that she'd accepted to play this role because, this just wasn't her type of movie at all. It was terrible!

I finally was able to sit back and watch my German UHD of this yesterday (had to pick a time I could watch it from start to finish and as loud as I wanted since it had no English subtitles).
As another viewer mentioned, it didn't quite provide a truly satisfying finish but it was a ton of fun. I don't know how many people read Shadowrun but this 110% was a "Street Doc" movie from start to finish. Jodie did a great job and I didn't even realize who Wolf King was going to be until

was on the screen and had a pretty nice glorified cameo sequence. I'll certainly be on the lookout for a cheap US blu-ray disc only so I can watch it whenever I want.
BTW, the HDR quality was really well done and that included the blacks which were pretty solid in depth. Glad I went to the effort of importing it. Such a gritty movie and it was rendered so beautifully on-screen.
This is literally the only time this "issue" ever comes up during the movie. There are no other title screens. ... As far I'm concerned, that counts as there being no localization issues whatsoever.

For one thing, here are the two localized titles just for people's consideration:
hardcore nitpicky or not, stuff like this bugs me. Just leave the titles alone and give me the proper, consistent version please. This nonsense bugs me in particular, because English stuff like below or ("produced by" etc.) is being kept in:

For another thing, I also just compared it with the BD and the HDR really is just gimmick HDR in my book. It adds more pop and (therefore) also depth, but while going up to 700 or so nits, it doesn't really add any highlight detail - it's basically all there on the BD already and the BD doesn't look ugly/flat to me here in comparison. The movie being a rather dark one (where SDR can pop already) may be a factor as well.
Since I for one don't care so much about this kind of HDR and since I do care more about proper titles, I'll get the US one now (because I liked the movie). Others (with proper HDR sets in particular) may beg to differ.
Also have the US release now and compared the two a little bit. (I think I actually must've received the last available copy from wowhd btw, since it went to "Rückstandsbestellung" ever since and isn't available regularly elsewhere either anymore. So I have to consider myself lucky I guess.)
For one thing, I can confirm the "fake HDR" on the German release - there isn't really any actual additional highlight detail. Mind you that this doesn't equal it not looking nicer/having more depth in HDR.
Under further news, the US release is noticably noisier - as in the German one is noticably filtered. Not "badly filtered" (didn't look bad when watching the disc after all), but noise-filtered. I also spotted some aliasing on the German one only when comparing the two, which is not present on the US one.
US has the proper titles of course:
