Got 24 season one DVD set for 53 cents (with tax). It had a yellow $1 sticker on it but apparently it was 50% off all yellow stickers that day.

I got the original and prequal Star Wars Blu-Ray sets a few months ago. Also all 3 Austin Powers movies Blu-Ray from the collection. Only missing the slip box they came in. Under $10 for all of them.

They had the huge DVD box set of the Star Trek films of their 2 disc releases for $20. Didn't have any more to get them and never got to go back.

Great thread. I only go to Goodwill since I never see a mom and pop thrift store around. I've picked up Band of Brothers (steelcase) for 6 bucks. Bought Wreck-It Ralph weeks ago for $5.

Wish Goodwill was still open during this time.

Goodwill in Alaska opened up last week and I picked up the Star Wars original trilogy DVD/Blu Ray combo for 4.99

I'm not really familiar with what kind of thrift stores would sell movies. What kind of shops should I be on the look out? I'd like to check one out, if they're open.

Almost any thrift store I've ever seen sells movies. Goodwill, St Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army, etc.

Yeah, i'm not too worried at all about going to most stores but I went into a Goodwill about a week ago and it was rough in there to say the least lol

I have horrible luck over the last few years anyways though, it seems like a lot of people stalk them now and are all over new items super quick.

Got Taste The Blood Of Dracula Blu for $3 from a Salvation Army. I also picked up an Italian release of Duel on DVD. Not sure how it ended up at a Salvation Army in Central Iowa.

The Goodwill stores by me charge $2.99 for a DVD and $4.99 for a single disc BD. Much better selection on the DVDs (100s to choose from) than the BDs - just a handful
