The movies I buy are in physical format only! And the digital codes that come with them, are just left to expire, inside their cases.

I don't wan't to spend my time, or use hard-drive space for downloading and watching movies. Then having to backup gigabytes of data, across multiple drives.

I really prefer to own the physical disc, but lately over the last year or so I have been going more digital. The biggest thing for me is the space to keep the physical discs. I live in a 1200 sqft townhouse with a wife and 2 kids, it's a 2bd/2bath. I have 2 shelves full of movies and a cd case with disc only. I'm starting to run out of room and I'm not sure where I would put more discs. I really like the physical format due to "owning" it and the better sound quality. My daughter likes to also be able to pick up the physical movie in her hands. I was born in 1980 btw.

I only watch physical media for movies. I have Netflix but I only use it for watching TV shows.

Yeah, that's always an issue with physical collections. You gotta be selective in what you bring home. And if your into buying those TV series box sets, they tend to eat up a lot of space, pretty quick.

I generally only buy my favorites on disc. For everything else I am okay streaming Vudu.
