This disc plays on my region-free Oppo set to region B.
It is listed as a A/B/C on the rear cover art.

The best the movie has ever looked. Not perfect, but overall pretty good.

Kind of ironic as I'm trying hard not to order it because I feel like a month or two after I get it, Indicator would announce a release.

If it were a $10 Mill Creek, I wouldn't think twice about double dipping if that were to happen.

To see a $20 "mod" supplanted would be a lot more vexing.

I am pretty eager to see this though.

Yes it does seem like it might be their cup of tea. I'd guess it might be further down the tracks than a couple of months, so might be worth the gamble.

It appears to be getting a Sony release in Spain soon, so I think Sony will just port that disc to the UK eventually, maybe even releasing it as a HMV Premium Collection title. Sony did the same with Krull, after that got a European disc, although they screwed up the aspect ratio on it, but there’s been other examples of them porting discs too.

Also, Sony wouldn’t licence Krull or Starman to Indicator, so I’m betting they won’t licence this out either. I really want to get it, but at over £18 to import currently, I think I’m going to wait a few months and see what happens.

Thanks Indiana. I just checked and there was a near three months gap between the Spain Krull release and the HMV Premium UK one. So maybe we can expect to see R&M around March time?

Well fingers crossed! I would’ve thought it’s a relatively high profile release, so I’m hoping if they port it to the UK, it’ll be sooner, rather than later.

It was pretty clearly released here hoping to piggyback off the release of the new Robin Hood film this week. Dunno what that means for the UK, since it seems the new film came out there this week too.

Ha, good point, that never occurred to me. But as the disc is now made, it should be rather easy to do overseas versions at least.

No. Sony abandoned their BD-R line, Choice Collection, long ago.

I was waiting for a review on this site, and to confirm that this wasn't a Sony "Choice" offering.

Just ordered from Bullmoose---great film!
