It would be nice to have some more Oliver Stone in 4K in general. So far we only have Platoon and The Doors.

It needs a new scan badly, even if it’s just a blu-ray with subtitles this time. After Stone DNR’d the blue input of Platoon, I don’t want him near any masters to “approve.”

Glad I got a copy of this when it was still reasonably priced (for Twilight), only BD released in the world of this great film.

This thread resurrection made me curious as to much this is going for since I missed it also. Clicking the ebay lnk from the page here, SAE is selling them on ebay for $19.95!

Now I'm back in "is this worth upgrading?" mode. I have the dvd but only watched it once in the years I've owned it (since that big Stone dvd boxset with the snapper cases). Anyone else still looking, I can't imagine Screen Archives selling bootlegs. No such listing for u-Turn as that really sold out, I'm guessing this one didn't.

I checked their store they still have stock for a ton of other titles to. After all these years just can't believe they could not sell them out. I do miss all the Twilight Time announcements and stuff that was so much fun.

U-Turn selling out well that is another great movie and has a great cast not surprised that sold out awhile ago.

I do recall U-Turn making it to a sale, so the last few lucky ****s/folks got em for about $15. I had that on pre-order for double that and don't regret it. Kind of regret not getting an extra copy during that sale though.
