Indeed, the cinematography of Watchmen is great. Heck, I'm still baffled that we were lucky enough to see that movie made the way it is. Everything was against it, from it being a completely different story, set in a completely different era, with completely different actors (and in turn, performances), to limited running times, to studio problems that almost prevented its release. Not only that, the chances of getting a director like Snyder, a fan of the comic, with a clear vision to how he was going to shoot it and adapt it, were slim to none... It was like winning the lottery.

What format someone shoots on doesn’t bother me, as long as the story and directing is good. But that’s just me. I know people like to make a big deal out of what format a movie is shot on over everything else.

It does have fast zombies, but it also has slow ones. There's an hierarchy with the zombies in this film. The fast ones are called "Alpha zombies".
