Funny thing about the reviews for the sequels is that the trailers for the sequels on their respective discs are in true HD, whereas they're upscaled SD sources on the first film's blu-ray.

I wish the first Shaft's trailer received an HD makeover somehow.

What is the definite edition to get of Shaft? I never owned it on home video and I guess the triple-feature from WAC would be the way to go? Artwork-wise none is really mind-blowing so..

Never seen any of the shaft movies, so I couldn't pass up a warner archive triple pack. On sale cheap at amazon

Darn. Yeah it looks like it sold out. Amazon could always get some more in stock so it's at least worth keeping an eye out for it. The price was 17.99 which is a steal for 3 Warner archive discs.
