As for Aladdin, while the 90's Disney films are certainly good looking, they aren't as stylish like Pinocchio, Bambi, Fantasia, Alice, Sleeping Beauty, etc. Even Tangled (the best looking film the studio's done since Sleeping Beauty IMO). All the 90's DA films look like they came out of the same universe. All those I would prefer over any of the 90's Disney films for a UHD update.

Though I don't think Aladdin is the GOAT, Disney Animation has made better underdog stories and you'll find more magical films from 1001 Arabian Nights (NOTHING will beat Lotte Reiniger's the Adventures of Prince Achmed). This is one of Disney's best films and I'm very excited for this one!

Best Buy Exclusive looks fantastic! I'm really happy to see that Aladdin is indeed getting a 4K release. I was disappointed that Cinderella didn't get a 4K release (or even a new Blu-ray transfer) when it was re-released last month.

I sure do hope that we will get a 4K release of Fantasia. It's my favorite movie of all time and I'm pretty positive that we will be getting a new release on physical media next year in honor of the film's 80th Anniversary.

1. Bring back the filmmakers so they can approve the 4K upscale and HDR pass.

2. Actually bother doing a QC on the Atmos remix.

3. An option to listen to the original Theatrical Mix.

Reminds me of the VHS cover art. Love it more than I hoped I would. 4K + nice cover art... Might double dip on this one.

Ah damn, might go for the regular cover over the Steelbook. Nothing against the latter but this one reminds me more of the VHS cover that I grew up with. (Could do without Aladdin's surfing pose though...)

Forget the Steelbook! this is a way better cover. My only complaint is that the Genie's nose looks a little weird. But other than that, this is amazing!
