I quite enjoyed Olympus but London not so much. Had a chance to watch this one and it was a very pleasant surprise. This is less violent than the other two Fallen movies but still pretty intense at times. They managed to balance the action, drama and humor quite well imo. Overall, even though we've seen this story countless times before, I nonetheless thought it was very well done. To me Angel is easily the best of the Fallen movies.

As for PQ, primarily watched the uhd in hdr10 via panny 420 and LG C6, it looked pretty nice, didn't notice any major issues with the image. Also quickly compared it to the regular BD, didn't go over with a fine tooth comb or anything but did notice a few obvious differences. Don't have UHD screencap capabilities, instead I'll just take a couple of screencaps of the BD and quickly mention how the UHD compares -

In the BD, throughout the night forest sequence there is some fairly fugly macroblocking visible in the night sky -

The UHD compression is much improved eliminating most if not all of the macroblocking.

In the BD, the office sequence contains a buttload of nasty looking banding on the walls along with some posterization on the characters throughout the scene -

In the UHD the difference is massive, the gradients are displayed very nicely eliminating the banding/posterization. All in all, I'd say the UHD is a nice upgrade over the BD.

Am watching this now. A very nice UHD with a great amount of detail and a massive improvement over the previous two movies. It's amazing though how much better Lionsgates UHDs are than their BD counterparts.

look? Is it worth getting as this is the only 4k versions out for the first two
Olympus and london.
