Wonder Woman 1984 AKA WW84 3D Blu-ray (2020) [Region Free]

Tickets have just gone on sale for Odeon Cinemas in the UK (including IMAX and Dolby Cinema) but no mention of 3D so far.

Odeon were pretty terrible at supporting 3D even before anyone had heard of Covid.

You were much more likely to find a 3D screening at an Empire or Cineworld. Unfortunately, both those chains are currently closed until further notice.

My theaters have shut down again due to local virus enforcement BS. Not happy at all.

[Show spoiler]My theaters were doing a great job at keeping things safe and clean but it's not an "essential" business, which is total BS. It's essential to them. Meanwhile, millions of people are crowding into the grocery stores. This is ridiculous at this point. Might as well force everyone to crawl into a cave the way the government is running things.

Even so, I highly doubt they were going to be showing Wonder Woman in 3D in my theaters. I still would've gone to see it just to experience it at theaters on the giant screen and with amazing sound. But that's not going to happen till sometime in 2021.

Only positive is thank goodness for movies at home.

Absolutely. Most likely WB will make this available in the UK as well, now that it looks like it will be available in India, but let's hope it is available in many places as possible.

They will, levcore, be patient i'm pretty sure preorders for the 3D disc will go live in the U.K. during when the film is in theaters and the 3D disc will also be available in the U.S. as well as per usual with Warner Bros., of course.

In the U.S., i can see this film getting both a pressed MOD release via Warner Archive as well as a Best Buy exclusive edition with a slipcover.

Good point. Warner Bros. is one of the very last big distributors of Movies that still offers blu ray 3D. Thank you WB for doing that, and hopefully for this film also and the future 3D films.

I am so glad that Wonder Woman 1984 is coming out on 3D Blu-ray. I won't be able to see it in theaters, especially with COVID at the moment, and there aren't any theaters near me even playing the film in 3D. It will be a joy to experience on 3D Blu-ray and to be able to revisit it on the format for years to come.

Great news about the 3D pre-orders in India. Hopefully WB will release this in other countries so it will be easier to obtain. Rahul still sells items on Amazon but I'm not sure if he's still actively importing new releases from India.

There's a guy near me that sells the Indian stuff for significant less than Rahul. I paid $4 or $5 CAD each for sealed copies of Toy Story 1-3 3D. I think my Frozen and Big Hero 6 3D box set was $15 CAD. Rahul is making crazy money at the prices he's selling this stuff for.

Finest Hours also had 3D in Brazil and Japan though boht of those are difficult to get ahold of. The Japan release is the only one with the lossless audio if I remember

If you know someone is Brazil, you could have them buy it and mail it though the shipping is more costly than the disc-- Amazon.br or Mercado. 24R on Amazon.Br (about $5USD) last I checked. Looks like around $27 on Ebay.com

That's crazy... I don't know how he makes any money selling 3D discs at a fraction of their original cost. Especially after accounting for shipping/import fees to Canada. Are you sure they're not bootlegs?

Maybe you'll have to set up a group buy if this guy ends up selling WW 1984 for just $5.

I have access to HBO Max now and the quality is pretty good, but with lack of 3D support I still will not be watching Wonder Woman 1984 on it and will just wait for the 3D disc, preordering that as soon as it appears in the US (and probably getting it from the UK if it doesn't.)

WW1984 is the first 4K HDR title. All of the movies WM is dropping on HBO Max next year will all be in 4K HDR.
