While I would have much preferred the entire Paramount 8 in the steel book with all 8 movies getting 4k scans, us steel book fiends will take what we can get. Im just happy to finally get a Friday steel that doesnt look like crap. When UHD versions come out I will just put them in this steel unless a better looking steel comes out.

Yeah, I'm waiting a while for this and Fatal Attraction for that very reason. Either they'll do steelbooks or I'll eventually get a lower price, so win-win. I can live without them in 4K for now.

Does this 40th anniversary steelbook have the open-matte 1.78:1 ratio?

I understand the Shout! BD version uses the same transfer but is digitally matted at 1.85:1.
