Will give it a watch. I just wish Americans would adopt the 6 episodes a seasons/series model.

A great example is that terribly overlong HBO series THE OUTSIDER. Ughhh!

That show would have benefited soooo much more had it been six episodes instead of ten!! They admitted that they padded it to make it ten eps on purpose!

For me, Nikolaj was THE choice. Especially if we are only looking at Game of Thrones actors like it appears HBO were.

I mean, this IS Joel -

I love Pedro I really do, but this is hardly a perfect casting. Ellie is a little weird too (she is a fantastic young actress no doubt but still)

I've finally returned to Breaking Bad after I watched the first 2 Seasons several year's ago. It's mercifully only 13 episodes long for Seasons 3 and 4, 5 being 16.

In my British opinion it's good, or more it's got some things that are very good about it. But it's not this masterpiece as some people claim it to be.

I do like how Brian Cranston peforms the whole character transformation. His scenes with Bob Odenkirk are pretty good. But with British/English TV shows, you aren't exactly hard pressed to find much better performances than what Cranston did in Breaking Bad.

Personally I'd rather watch Graham Duffs Ideal, even though that went on far to long. The first 3 series (seasons) were amazing.

Americans excel at film for me. TV, for the most part, meh.

He would have been a perfect match, resemblance wise! Even better than a slightly younger Hugh Jackman

But maybe Pedro Pascal can sell it better.

Does anybody know if Nikolaj even auditioned? And he’s a fellow HBO alum

My top choice was always Joel Edgerton.

Obviously Mandalorian is great, but I'm not feeling this casting.

In all honesty, the actress who they used to portray Abby via motion capture in the game they should use to play Abby in the HBO show. Plain and simple.

Saw a video of Bella singing and playing the guitar yesterday, and she's definitely got the guitar skills. The more I see of her, the more excited I am for her to play the role. I know a lot of people aren't stoked, but it's always the people that surprise me most upon casting announcements that end up surprising me most with their performance.
