I hope not. Of course, I'm not sure what's worse. Sony's cardboard junk or Steelbooks. I don't like the way either one holds discs. I want standard Viva elite.

Huge fan of the games and the movies, CG and live action. Really love parts 1, 2, 5, and 6 the most. But really dig Extinction and Afterlife too. They're fun, over the top horror action fests. Sure i wish they were super dark and oppressive like the Resident Evil 1 game reboot. But some of the film's, especially 1, 2 and 4 really have the feel of the games in certain points. The CG films have just as much wackiness and action as the live action films, so I never understood how they get a pass. But anyway hopefully we get a movie reboot that is super dark, dread filled and hopeless like the games. Fingers crossed.

I have the Prime 4K stream of Resident Evil 1, do you think the 4K disc will look way better than that?

discshop.se has updated their page to mention:
"Boxset only contains 4K discs, it's not the special pack of the US version"
and it is orderable again.
The discshop.fi site was apparently updated too but does not mention the above.
