The tv show was better, wish we got that on bluray complete with the original songs & extra scenes. These movies were too raunchy & not very funny

Is there any information about these two movies being finished in either 4kDI or 2kDI?

Since these are Sony releases, where a lot of their movies were Mastered in 4k before 4k Blu-ray came along, I would assume these suckers will be Native 4k

These are the specs for 21 Jump Street, I have no idea what this means but 2K intermediate suggests unless they re-scan the negative and refinish it at 4K it will be upscaled from 2K.

Definitely looks like upscales to me. There's not as much of a huge improvement on detail, but the HDR and sound are pretty great improvements for sure. I suspect similar results with Whiplash coming out next week.

Mostly likely skipping the disc and buying on iTunes as I have been quite impressed with its quality and it available for $16 which is way cheaper.
