With Jackie filming roughly three hours of footage, what footage still exists that we rarely get to see? Extra/extended fight scenes? Outtakes maybe? I do remember seeing deleted scenes on YouTube a few years back but can’t find them now except for the extended finale fight. Would be nice if 88 Films could include some unused/lost footage.

For those interested, there's technically three English dubs of this:

1. The export dub (Barry Haigh as Jackie, with Matthew Oram, Warwick Evans, etc.) - export and Japanese theatrical cuts
2. The Media Asia dub (Jack Murphy as Jackie) - Hong Kong Legends DVD only
3. The Fortune Star dub (Jack Murphy's voice recordings from the Media Asia dub reused with some retakes, different VAs for some of the other characters) - Fox DVD/presumably what 88 is gonna use for the HK cut (or both newer dubs, like Mr. Vampire's Eureka BD).

Been very fond of Barry Haigh since I first heard the prologue for Fist of fury.

So comforting, dramatic and cheesy at the same time. Remind me a bit of old
narration for black and white news reels and pre-WW2 Chevrolet educational videos. Legend!

Wow, I grew up on all these films and the other thing I've ever heard about a personality behind the voice is that Anneka Rice used to do some dubs.

Could you point me in the direction of any interviews or stuff I might read?
