Go ahead, make your jokes, Mr. Jokey... Joke-maker. But let me hit you with some knowledge. Quit now. Save yourself the embarrassment of losing with these losers in HD DVD, Graffeo.

DVD had full studio support by the $200 level.

If you want to hit the mass market, you have full studio support. If you want to be a niche, then a less than full support is good enough for that.

But, two seems awfully low. Something like pre-recorded MiniDisc type of support.

Sheesh, this is a reminder for me not to complain about my job. Unlike Ken, I don't have to say things that I don't believe and call it a living.

Ok.

This has gone from extremely hilarious, to kinda funny, to flat-out sad.

I honestly can't come up with a good explanation's for Graffeo's behavior. Is there a rational reason why this man is still beating the HD-DVD drum like it was his sole mission in life? Could it be that he is on his way out, and he is just making his proverbial last stand?

I think it's either that or the man's gone

Btw, these new smileys ROCK.

Please. He’s starting to sound more and more like their delusional consumer base.

I was going to post something very similar, but you stated it in much nicer terms. Thanks, I don't want to get in trouble here!

I came across an inside pic of Ken at the Uni boardroom meetings. The recent news about WB seems to be treating him quite badly...

It's the mentalitity that if you keep saying something over and over it will somehow magically come true.

I want to give him slack, but he is being made to look like a jackass more everyday.

The 93:7 numbers were for standalone hardware units in the second week of January.

The 83:17 numbers refer to software sales... I wouldn't try to draw conclusions by comparing those two number sets. HD DVD software will continue to sell to stubborn blu-resisting owners, whereas I think the hardware sector will be hit harder - what new buyer would buy an HD DVD player now?

Please...

I gave up listening to that moron long ago. I'll only listen when I hear the words, "Ken Graffeo resigns from Universal".

Ken a while back said that Blu-ray like other Sony's format is going to be a disaster... *LOL* What a loser.

Ken said: "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah "

Who cares what he says? He has now faded into irrelevance. I can't see why anyone would pay any more attention to those words than they would the ex-Iraqi information minister making bold statements whilst a column of American tanks could be seen in the distance behind him.
