This is where I'm at too. I'm interested in expanding my 4k collection, especially for something as rich as Beastmaster looked, but I don't think I need a 40-page book or special packaging.

I'm not familiar with these Vinegar Syndrome releases though... what are the odds that this will eventually become a lower-priced no frills edition? Or is this it forever and I'll never see a better price?

I'm going to start taking nude photos of myself, and charging people.

You pay $5 for me to send you one of my nude photos.

You pay $50 for me not to send you one of my nude photos.

I'm hoping 20 pages are devoted to Tanya Roberts, and a few more to her priestess friend bathing in the river.

Virtually non-existent. It's not like with their limited slipcover editions. Once their 4K UHD release of Rad sold out, that was it.

Well, to be fair, the limited Rad release was due to the contract they had with the rights holder. But, I agree, this probably won't get a standard release either.

This announcement has me so hyped. One of my most favorite movies ever. And it puts a smile on my face to remember being a child in the early 80's when a movie like this was rated "PG" even though it has FULL FRONTAL female nudity, child sacrifice and incredibly violent scenes like the Death Guards turning dudes into blood sausage. Ahhhhh, those were the days.

I'm not sure how much was edited for cable when I was a kid, but rewatched the beginning on prime to see how kid friendly it was & holy effn sheet this movie is way more hardcore then I'd remembered. Can't wait.

I have very fond memories of my father renting it for us to watch on CED back in 1983, I think. The witches always creeped the hell out of me. I saw it not too long ago on Prime Video, and it still holds up pretty well. I'm totally buying it.

That's disappointing, I really love Part 2. I thought it was a really good decent movie.

Didn't grow up with this. Looks good but I can't justify a blind buy.
