So Mascarpone gets a blu-ray but The Cakemaker and The Collini Case didn't? Peccadillo's choices for what gets a blu-ray release infuriate me.

I hadn’t heard of Mascarpone before and I don’t find the reviews the most enthusiastic. I understand COVID and VOD makes what get released more volatile, but not even limited theatrical releases are guaranteed a BD, whereas I can’t even find any release info for this film, maybe it’s just VOD/disc.

At least Collini has a German Blu-ray with English subtitles.

Took a while for this to come out as it premiered in festivals in 2019, I watched it in WOW Film Festival in 2021, and competed for Best International Feature Film at last year’s Oscars.

I saw it last summer, it's a cute little film, although I'm not sure I need to see it again. I don't seem to recall any LGBT themes in it? I guess it might be one of those exceptions for Peccadillo.

I really wish that they would upgrade A Girl at My Door to Blu-ray, now that was an excellent film, and it seems to be OOP.
