Zack Snyder’s Justice League 4K Steelbook (Best Buy Exclusive)

Got my pre-order and I'm not wanting around because this pre-order will sell out in a day or two. Got my Zavvi copy last month and now this shows up today.

Just pre-ordered it myself.This is my first DCEU steelbook.I get the steelbooks for the DC Animated films like the just released Batman :The Long Halloween Part I but for the DCEU,I've tended to get the Target exclusives.I got the digibooks for Man Of Steel-Aquaman and got the exclusives slipcovers for Birds Of Prey and WW84.The only DCEU exclusive I didn't get was for Shazam.They didn't do a digibook in the U.S or special slipcover and I liked the regular slipcover more which was lenticular over the Best Buy steelbook.

But I really like this steelbook art,so it was a easy choice over getting the standard release.Granted if,I did get the standard release,I would of gotten the Blu Ray only version since I don't have 4K and only usually get 4K disks if it is a part of the exclusive.

Pre-ordered! Tempted to pick up the comic art steelbook. There's a used media store near me that has a copy for like 8 bucks. I really like the art- moreso than this, arguably. I'm just glad to finally have the Snyder Cut in my greedy little hands. Haven't had a chance to rewatch yet.

I don't know, I feel like this steel will be available for a while, at least up to release day. haha

Most people who are hardcore fans like us and wanted it badly most likely imported it already from Europe or the UK. I was just getting ready to import if it didn't get announced by the end of June and thankfully it did. I've got the HBO Max stream until September so there's no rush.

The US steel is identical and we have to wait until September.

Why buy it from the US and wait when you can just import it and have it in a week? haha

If the US release had a digital copy, that'd be a different story. But it looks like it doesn't.

Got my import today. Certainly not my favorite artwork, but it's a nice steelbook. I love the tray as opposed to stacked discs!

I think you can PO now and then change it to an in-store pickup later, so you don't really have to wait to place the order.

I know what I hate, and I don't hate this steelbook art. I think it looks pleasing to the eye, and it gets across the sense of strength and unity in an original way. It definitely tells you this is a Zack Snyder artistically driven movie, not one that is just slapping a bunch of familiar faces on the cover to make the marketing people happy.

I wonder now if digital copies will be going away for everything so they can institute another way to bribe people into paying subscription fees to watch movies.

The comic art one might have film credits for the Screenplay by Joss Whedon and Geoff Johns version.

Best Buy Steelbook version looks exactly like the France Steelbook, except the print on the discs are in French - the print on the steelbook itself is english.

Just so you know, you don't have to wait until Sept. 2021 to buy this Steelbook from Best Buy, and I'll repeat here what I wrote under the non-steelbook listing on blu-ray.com because it gives you information if you don't want to wait.

If you're waiting to buy this now (6-25-21) from some trusted seller / retailer who has the France release (Made in Denmark) of the Zack Snyder's Justice League 4 hour movie in 4x3 aspect ratio as it was intended, and you're in the U.S. and don't want to wait until Sept. 2021 for the official release in the U.S., this is the one you want.

It is region free for the 4k discs, it is region free for the blu-ray discs even though blu-ray.com as of this date (6-25-21) still lists the blu-ray as region B (on the France site).

Also, nothing about this issue is in the PAL format as it may be in other countries - it is in the U.S. NTSC format - playable on any U.S. 4k or blu-ray region A player.

I received mine from a trusted seller on eBay in the collectible steel book case with the promotional cards (that are Black Widow promo cards) yesterday and immediately (like a kid in the candy store) put the 4k discs into the 4k player, put the blu-ray discs into the blu-ray players (all region A Sony units), and everything played.

Yes, the 4 hour Zack Snyder's version is on two discs in both formats, the bit rate is very high, disc two begins to auto play the last 1 hour and 40 minutes (without a menu), and to me, in my opinion, was worth the $60 I ended up paying for it.

I've never splurged like this for an import (except for the U.S. television program of seaQuest on blu-ray from Australia, that also plays on U.S. region A players) and doubt I'd spend that amount again, but I refuse to keep paying HBO Max to see this and I want to see it (along with the re-issued extended corrected version of Batman v Superman shown here on blu-ray.com: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Batma...lu-ray/286720/) a few more times before it goes on the shelf, so I took a chance.

Higher price, yes. Worth it? That depends on the buyer. Normally, I wait for sales 6 months after a release. Not this time.

Just saw this 2 copy limit notice. Is this new? Perhaps not as I never ordered more than 1 copy of a steelbook pre-order in the past. I decided to see how many copies BB would let me add to cart this time just to see.

I cancelled my other order and used this code, not to much but it saved me $ 3.60. Not sure if I I'll keep this pre-order or go with the the trilogy.
