I watched Chinese Boxer today and didn't notice any particular audio issues. Afterwards I came back to the thread to see what the problem was. I went to that exact scene in the film and still didn't notice anything wrong. Either you have really sensitive ears, or there isn't an issue with my disc.

As for the film, the choreography wasn't quite the style I enjoy. The film isn't bad but also doesn't really offer anything specific to recommend it (other than Wang Yu). Mostly of interest as it was Yu's directorial debut and Lo Lieh sporting a wig and playing a Japanese character.

Thanks for checking. I noticed it actually while listening to the commentary because there was a slight pause in midword. When turning off the track and putting it to the original language, I noticed it was there too. A pause in the wind and score.

On the English dub, there's silence instead of score at that moment in the film so the pause is not noticable.

I will give you, I have sensitive ears to this kind of stuff but might be an issue with my disc. I totally forget about this until today so will give it a whirl in another player and see what happens.
