So Will Smith has resigned from the Academy. The Academy is still proceeding with its disciplinary meetings. Do ya'll still think it's a work or can we move on now?

Some people will never admit to being wrong so I’m sure they will still say it’s fake. Lol

It comes with a slap instead. Some new Hollywood trend apparently.

Nope. This replaced the deification of Taylor Hawkins. Maybe, something will happen at the Grammys.

Don't worry, it's just in a phase. It'll move on by itself soon.

Will Smith might be in a similar position to yours in that relationship. Except his abuse is psychological. Imagine your wife publicly saying she still loves another man. Imagine her programming your daughter to wish that you were not her father. Then publicly admitting to having an affair while the world watches you cry.

I know someone who went through something similar both physically and psychologically. He stayed because of responsibilities, but in the end he mentally broke down and almost ended up in prison. He got better by leaving the relationship, but I'm not sure one can completely recover from that kind of experience.

Anyway, I get the impression that this is the kind of movie I would watch if it happened to be on TV. I think it will get a massive boost on streaming.

Have your publicist type up an apology for that cashier and then resign from your job before you're penalized.

I do not boycott movies to express my dissatisfaction with an actor's behavior. If doing so is supposed to be some kind of punishment then it is a poor choice as it punishes everyone involved in the production. I just go online like everyone else and express my outrage at the offender until the next worthy of my indignation comes along.

I'll never boycott a film over someone's real life antics offscreen. A great film is still a great film, even if a jerk or monster is in it.

However, I was never interested in this to begin with, and have always found Will to be irritating IN films and TV shows.

So, I was never buying it to begin with. Nothing to do with the other thing....

Like everyone else on the planet, I have bought a copy of Pulp Fiction in the last 20 years, so his little kerfuffle would be the least of my collection's transgressions.

In fact I have sympathy for Will, believing this to be an outcome of the many entanglements.

I wish this site had a Private Message option so the rest of us don't have listen to the constant back and forth.

This is happening everywhere though. Will Smith pretty much did this to himself. There are consequences when you act like he did.

As for whether it has a chance for 4K, well Sony own it so it could possibly end up on a Columbia Classics boxset. I don't think that will be happening any time soon, though.

Unless you're talking about When We Were Kings (which, again, wasn't directed by Spike although he was interviewed). Criterion put that on Blu-Ray fairly recently so I don't think a 4K is imminent. But, again, it could happen
Sorry, yes, the Michael Mann film. I thought years ago I heard Spike Lee directed it, and I never looked it up to verify.
