Dang. So only some typical EPK stuff. Was hopin' for some deleted scenes and commentary.

I was hoping for a director’s cut… pipe dream, I know, but this movie was very obviously heavily truncated.

Same, we know there was stuff cut so that's pretty disappointing. Couldn't even throw the mini featurettes and character spotlights they released before the movie came out on there either? Given its rough performance at the box office I'm not overly surprised it's light on the features but still, if it's sitting there already cut together and ready to go why not.

A shame that this didn't get to make much of an impact at the BO, we deserved a darker more true to the games movie series.

Maybe they should throw a dimension hopping Milla into the next one.

I watched this today with a friend and she joked that she half expected a studio mandated appearance of Alice in a poor attempt to try to shoehorn them together.

Alice in the Multiverse of Madness, well why bloody not. Might as well chuck in Spiderman while we're at it.

I was kinda hoping the train would pull into the train station from the Alice RE. That would have been a cool Easter egg.

The ending with
[Show spoiler]the characters emerging from a tunnel
made me think of the ending of
[Show spoiler]Train to Busan
. I got the impression that the next town was rather far away.

Have I missed a release date for the physical release, or has it not yet been announced?

Was ok. Wish they would have used more practical effects because the cg was pretty bad.

I was going to rent it but $19.99 is way too much. I would have at $14.99. I'll just wait until the day it gets released on blu-ray/4K & it'll probably be $5.99.

I pre ordered this but only because Im such a fan of the games. I want to support this because if they actually put money into it and reference the sourcw material, these movies could be giants.

It occurred to me that this movie is precisely the type of movie the games were originally modeled after. Low-budget b-level schlock with obvious Carpenter inspirations. It really just vibes with everything I love about the OG games without just giving me the same thing but with humans. I will never not recognize the flaws, but those flaws are part of the charm to me.

I'm also a sucker for the moments in the games where they reveal a secret door or hallway etc, so the fact that they included the Moonlight Sonata moment here (and the keys at the orphanage opening a separate secret door) put a smile on my dial.
