Shit, The Worst Person In The World can't be included, despite it being a 2021 release. Ah well.

They should retitle it, "Will I like the top 20 films of 2021?".

Or just sticky it until it's over.

The mods never sticky these threads unfortunately. Really wish they'd respect what puppy does for the folks in this thread.

You can just keep bumping it and then delete your previous bump as you do it. I'm just hoping West Side Story and The Tragedy of Macbeth will come to streaming before the March deadline.

Here is my list... still got a couple weeks to see a few more 2021 films, but feeling pretty solid about 1-15. Last five may be change in the coming weeks.

As a hard of hearing person who went to a deaf school, I am partially biased with my number one pick, even though I honestly do believe it is the best film of 2021 even without my biased. After CODA, is Last Night in SoHo which is simply 100% pure entertainment, which is severely lacking in modern films. After SoHo, 3-5, are really interchangeable, but nowhere near as great as the top two and the rest after Belfast are just good and/or entertaining films.

1. CODA

2. Last Night in SoHo

3. The Suicide Squad
4. tick, tick…BOOM!
5. Belfast

6. Pig
7. King Richard
8. Old
9. No Time to Die
10. Malignant
11. Drive My Car
12. Spider-Man: No Way Home
13. A Quiet Place Part II
14. 8-Bit Christmas
15. Queenpins
16. Free Guy
17. Spencer
18. The Tender Bar
19. American Underdog
20. Ghostbuster: Afterlife

Macbeth is hitting Apple TV+ next Friday. WSS is very likely to hit streaming soon, maybe even late January/early February.

Cool, I just got an Apple TV+ 3 month trial with a 4k TV I bought a week or so ago. It's just about the only subscription that no one in my family has.

That's good to know about Macbeth. I could never tell when that movie was actually playing in theaters. Only currently playing at one Cinemark location and one Alamo Drafthouse here. I'm not sure if my AMCs and Regals actually ever screened it.

I always like to look at your list because there's usually a few films not on anyone else's list & it gives me a few other films to check out that i might not otherwise get to. BUT i'm not sure if the ones i bolded qualify as having 2021 US releases, please correct me if i'm wrong.

Bump post so this makes it back to first page.

Also, saw Tender Bar on Amazon Prime this weekend. It might make my list.

So glad I held off posting any of my list so far. Still doing the final cram of potential contenders, and just finished a movie I didn't have much prior knowledge of, and it instantly jumped into my Top 5. Stoked.

And let's just say...this film doesn't even have a thread/post about it on this forum.

Let us know what it is, so we can watch it and see if it goes on our lists!
