This week's episode had me scratching my head, I still don't "get" it (except how bad it was, and I've liked this season quite a lot more than previous revivals)

It just followed the trend of similar a handful of similar episodes we have seen throughout its run.

It was very much a case of 'We don't have enough story to fill an episode, so let's just go weird'.

Bender doing loop-de-loops made me chuckle though.

Agree that the revival has been pretty good except for this week's episode.

I watched the first two episodes of the new season, and I'm just not feeling it. I'm happy for everyone that is enjoying these new episodes. I wish I did.

The first 2 were decent but not the best from the current season. For me the best episode is the Dune parody in Nibbler's litterbox. There hasn't been a WOW episode yet but overall it's much better than the Comedy Central era.

Second favorite episode is the 3rd which is the old west bitcoin parody.

Is there a Complete Series on Bluray of this? If so by who and why is there no record of it on here?

There's at least another 2 seasons due on Hulu, so there can't be a Complete Series set yet.

They will not.

What was released up to Into the Wild Green Yonder sold well enough to spark the restart on Comedy Central. But ratings and sales for the Comedy Central seasons were not as expected. Viewership for the Hulu revival was also disappointing.

Season 13? Futurama on Wikipedia has it down as Season 10. Very confusing.

The missing seasons are when it was canceled 3 times.

The season numbering is kind of a pain in the butt. When Fox ordered it, they produced 4 seasons worth of episodes but because Fox likes to take things off for sports, the 4 produced seasons aired across 5 TV seasons, which is why Wikipedia only lists 4, they're listing them by production not broadcast. This is why there was only 4 original DVD sets, and they were also in production order while TV aired them out of order.

Then Comedy Central revived it and took the 4 movies and split them up until 4 episodes each and aired them like a season before the new episodes started. Hulu counts this as season 6. Then Comedy Central had two seasons but split them into 2 parts each (and promoted it as season 7-A and 7-B etc etc) which Hulu also counts each part as a separate season.

All in all, Hulu is stupid and added two phantom seasons because of the split seasons. They also aren't in production order on Hulu, which makes watching it there a pain and all the more reason 20th TV needs to release (and re-release) everything on disc.

I would actually like to see the 12 separated episodes of those four movies, but they've vanished into the ether.

Huh? I just watched them last month on hulu. I own the dvds so it was my first time seeing them split with recaps
