Anyone care to rank how good these boutique sales are in terms of savings? What with so many happening at once I figure it could help us narrow our stuff down.

From the ones I’ve shopped with I’d say…

1. Severin
2. Kino Lorber
3. Vinegar Syndrome
4. Arrow

I’ve been tempted by some other boutique sales, but I think outside of those four I’ve stuck to my usual shopping places.

I have never shopped with Severin, but I just looked at their website and their standard prices are quite high. Do their titles drop to the $4.99 - $9.99 range like most Kino Lorber titles during sales?

The standard prices are high, but their clearance price goes down to $3 for some items. It’s mostly DVDs rather than Blu-rays, but I love their product regardless of format

As far as Blu-rays go as far as I’m concerned Kino Lorber may be unbeatable with their sale prices.

Vinegar Syndrome does half off on nearly everything sales. It’s the only time I ever buy from them.

As for Arrow I might stay clear of their sales unless they do something to really entice me. They do half off sales too, but usually not too many titles that intrigue me and I don’t already have. Also lately, only very few of their limited editions are included as half off which I find to be the most intriguing products.

These have been the only boutiques with sales good enough to make me actually bite the bullet and buy. Criterion has some good looking sales too, but they’re few and far between and tend to come at the worst times for my wallet lol.

They have 4 sales a year, all at predictable times, and always half off everything. That’s about as reliable as they come.

Savings during our sales (and sometime during non-sale periods) are better than you can get anywhere else.

We've got our 5th Anniversary Sale going on right now and shipping is a flat $3.99 no matter how many titles you order. Eleven OOP MGM titles are also on sale.

Mike from Grindhouse Video said last night during his livestream that Arrow will not be having an "Easter Carnage" sale this year (at least in the US). He said that he's planning an Arrow sale for sometime in May.

dr727: Twilight Time sale at SAE was extended through 4/12 at midnight EDT. It's been noted in the dedicated sale thread (here) but not yet updated in the OP of this thread.

https://www.shoutfactory.com/sale/roger-corman-sale

Not so label-wide, but Shout Factory is having a Roger Corman sale, including their site exclusives, the Steelbook of Slumber Party Massacre which is almost sold out, and they also found some copies of the Steelbook of Humanoids of the Deep.

Nice! Also worth noting that these 2 Exclusives are limited to 1,500 and only sold directly through Shout. Exclusives don't seem to be on sale as often. I'm not as familiar with most of the other titles, but there are other exclusives in the sale as well.

Big Bad Mama / Big Bad Mama II [Double Feature] $21.98
Crazy Mama / The Lady In Red [Double Feature] $21.98

EDIT: Email promo says:
Quote:
This includes Site Exclusives Angels Hard As They Come, The Big Bust-Out, The Brain Eaters, and Bury Me An Angel, amongst others.

It took me forever to check out with the Corman sale as I kept getting 503 Time Out errors as I think everyone was trying to make a purchase, but I eventually was able to get my order in and grab the following:

Yes, the big March sale just ended on April 1st. The next one should be in early November again.
