For me Amazon never offered release date delivery, not even when placing a new order or using the “change my shipping speed” trick, so I won’t get mine until Thursday.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up though, this is gonna be a case of WYSIWYG.

Just got mine from Amazon. Like so many TV releases these days, this uses a stacking (more than one disc on each hub; not the same thing as overlapping, but it does that too) Scanavo case with 12 hubs for 19 discs. And as usual, it arrived with loose discs. I haven't yet tested all of the discs but I'm expecting scratches.

As an aside, I don't understand why Amaray never sold their MegaPacks here; not even sure if they still make them in Europe. They were a much better design than these, and could hold more discs/hubs in the same space without stacking discs.

Are there any Blu-sizes cases that hold 19 discs? I think they found a case that could and worked backwards from there.

And it doesn’t bother me too much considering Breaking Bad is housed in a large plastic barrel and El Camino is in a steelbook.

I ****in' hate the DVD cases for blus.

I'll wait for this to go down to a decent sale price, but man, the DVD case is so disappointing.

Could always try and grab the individual releases instead? Although some seasons may be OOP so will be harder to track down.

There aren't any special features specific to the boxset so you won't be missing anything if you do decide to go that route

I'm glad I ended up sticking with the single releases. I had seasons 1-3, but stopped buying once they announced an endgame, figured I'd pick up the series set. Once I saw it was gonna be stacked discs like that in a crappy case, I got a good deal on 4-5 on ebay and asked for 6 for christmas.

It can't be that hard to just not make something not a cheap cashgrab. Hell even the original Breaking Bad set would have been way better.

So for now I have BB and BCS all in single seasons. And unless we get a 4K set (Doubtful), i'll stick with those.

That's crazy they decided to use DVD packaging. Very grateful to have the individual releases for seasons 1-5. Really sucks for folks who were waiting for a series set to pick them up.
