Must have been a glitch; it's back down to 1,400.

Which partner labels have left other than Terror Vision?

I hope the partners that have/will branch off aren't over playing their hands. There is something to the ease of ordering a bunch of different titles/labels from VinSyn. They can all be bundled together with an order~plus they could get more eyes on them in one place.

Not saying they are doomed if they leave, either. Hope it works out for all in the end.

Rumors of Fun City Editions but not confirmed. I believe it's mostly based off of most of their titles going OOP soon and the Insider going silent in their thread, but it could easily be nothing.

I remember reading something awhile ago from Jah (I think that's his handle) saying that if a movie doesnt sell well it's pretty hard financially so I would read titles going OOP as they werent selling and FCE isnt renewing the contract/printing more copies. Otherwise all of the FCEs would be going OOP. This forum can also be a cesspool so I dont blame someone for removing the toxicity from their life, especially if it's a smaller label that may be struggling a bit.

I agree with that other user's sentiment that breaking off from VS could be bad. They probably wont have the visibility and ease of purchase alone as they do with VS.

Its worth noting that Terrorvision's owner has owned and operated a record label for years and also has been doing boutique vinyl and cassette distribution; He has experience in the distribution side that is relatively uncommon. I remember a bit of surprise when they joined because it seemed like they could just do it on their own

They might have joined just to grow their base and now feel comfortable going back on their own.

Too many titles to pick from. If you’re a customer it’s great, if you’re an imprint not so much

TBH, the non-KS slipcover looks better based on that tease.

Out of the November releases I just picked up White Reindeer. I bet I go hard for their December titles.

As for Terrorvision not being a PL now. I wonder if it's because they reached a pint where their fans could support them outside of OCN help?

I certainly don't see this as the sky is falling on PLs.

I'm a simp for Sammelin.

I'm guessing (Could be 100% wrong) that VS takes a cut of Partner Release sales and TerrorVision already have a storefront. So maybe it's just more beneficial to them to do it their own way. Could also be they were testing the waters to see how well their stuff would sell and if it'd be worth venturing forward.
