Nothing there that will cause loss of sleep. IMO. . Some of those are terrible shows with small viewership anyways.

Same, COBRA KAI season 6 is effected but I still haven't got around to season 1 yet so they can take all the time in the world frankly and House of Dragon season 2 has already had all scripts done.

I have so many shows and movies to catch up on that i might actually get around to finally watching Breaking Bad/Mad Men/Better call Saul etc

Oh, i can watch Deep Space Nine!!

Writers Guild Negotiators on Where Talks Broke Down: “They Really Weren’t Interested in Making a Deal”
In an interview after the studios and streamers and writers' union failed to reach an agreement on Monday night, David Goodman, Chris Keyser and Ellen Stutzman discussed how the guild came to its first work stoppage in 15 years.

This is really a giant nothing-burger. So a few crappy or semi-crappy shows are getting punted or pushed back. So what? TONS to watch out there. Or, I have like 400+ discs on my shelf, LOL.

I still think this is a chance for the talented writers to break off from the bad ones and do their thing. Unions are famous for protecting the weak & useless. Dump 'em. They'll figure it out.

To be fair SNL died way back in the 90s. After that it was just a zombie waiting for the sweet release of death.

Used to be one of my favorite shows ever. It went south a long time ago....

IMO SNL truly went to crap after Chris Farley passed. Chevy Chase was already a douche by then and it was like everyone lost their ability to be funny and were grasping at any straw they could to stay relevant. The Steven Seagal episode from 1991 was also terrible, but that was more-so Steven being the problem and not the show.

The more people devalue creatives, the more bad entertainment we are going to get

You think it is bad in Hollywood, it is much worse in Comics. At least there is a writers guild for them.

Fringe, Friday Night Lights and Indy 4 were the 3 most Shows/Movie I remember affected the most from the last strike. I'm sure there were others, but those are 3 that stand out and you can see them on re-watch's. We just went through the COVID shutdown. Really hope they come to an agreement FAST!

Get ready for a new wave of reality TV if this goes on too long.

What are you talking about? This is not a popularity contest, it’s about fair pay. The backbone of this strike is build upon solidarity, and you’re thinking it’s gonna end up in some Hunger Games scenario where only the “best” remain standing? Get real; these are all people that deserve a fair wage, regardless what show they’re working on.

Those shows still have writers. Maybe more nature shows or cat videos.

I’m in the mood to revisit Conan’s writers strike episodes from Late Night 2008. No other late night host could pull this off.
