![]() I still think this is a chance for the talented writers to break off from the bad ones and do their thing. Unions are famous for protecting the weak & useless. Dump 'em. They'll figure it out. |

IMO SNL truly went to crap after Chris Farley passed. Chevy Chase was already a douche by then and it was like everyone lost their ability to be funny and were grasping at any straw they could to stay relevant. The Steven Seagal episode from 1991 was also terrible, but that was more-so Steven being the problem and not the show.

Fringe, Friday Night Lights and Indy 4 were the 3 most Shows/Movie I remember affected the most from the last strike. I'm sure there were others, but those are 3 that stand out and you can see them on re-watch's. We just went through the COVID shutdown. Really hope they come to an agreement FAST!

What are you talking about? This is not a popularity contest, it’s about fair pay. The backbone of this strike is build upon solidarity, and you’re thinking it’s gonna end up in some Hunger Games scenario where only the “best” remain standing? Get real; these are all people that deserve a fair wage, regardless what show they’re working on.
