Been on a Jackie Chan kick and never seen this one before so when I saw it in my local HMV I decided to pick it up. If 88 Films announces a 4K with both cuts of the film and a bunch of extras, you know who to thank :P

Enjoy, its a very fun movie with some great action scenes.

Hopefully one day this movie gets a better release, with lots of extra features and the HK cut included but for now, the International cut is still a good watch.

Plaion in Germany may be the best bet for a release with both cuts, as they did it with First Strike with the same rights holders. Getting a 4K would be another hurdle.

no same version of the film except for this release Includes a rigid slipcase, an A3 poster, "Anatomy of an Action Hero" artcard, and 3x double-sided artcards.

There’s a copy of this floating around on Internet Archive. Its the HK cut but not the HK dub - instead its got everyone speaking their original languages, all subtitled (except the wedding song). Kinda bizarre when Jackie’s speaking Cantonese and other characters reply to him in English, reminds me of Ocean’s Eleven

Quality is abysmal of course but still its a way to watch it without breaking any laws!

This was released on VCD in HK in 2001 and is the only version I know of with the original synch-sound audio and English subs. The edited, English language version even dubs English over the characters who were originally speaking it.
