Obviously I disagree as I absolutely love DGG's Halloween trilogy.

But Halloween 3 is absolutely amazing as well. I watch it every year (I place it first in my marathon as to not disrupt the Myers story) but I really do love all the Halloween films warts and all. The only one I outright dislike is Halloween: Ressurection. I can find stuff in all the other ones that I like.

The Exorcist: Deceiver - as in we were deceived it would be any good.

This isn't a typical franchise series, which was why it's so difficult to establish. Outside of legacy characters, we've seen it all before. Plus in my opinion, it's become so formulaic/generic.

Having done the Africa prequel, one of the few places left to go is back to Reagan as an older woman and how it's affected her etc. However, with the ending of Believer it's kinda ruined it.

P.S. Halloween is a classic but I do have a lot of love for Halloween IV.

Halloween 3 imo, is not great - it's far from the greatness of the first one but it's a good little horror film. It does jump the shark a bit with the plot and how the heck did they
[Show spoiler]get Stone Henge into the US?

It's a movie about dark Celtic magic. Just go with it.

That's such a minor gripe, I can't see that qualifying as "jumping the shark".

Yep, but Cochran is a warlock, and we can assume
[Show spoiler] "awakened" the power of stonehenge with witchcraft
to fit his goal. Or that
[Show spoiler]Stonehenge was already imbued with "witchcraft"

Yes but the question was how did they get
[Show spoiler]Stonehenge into the US, I do not recall it being moved.

Cochran actually makes a joke about it at one point, says something along the lines of how much of a
[Show spoiler]tribulation it was to get it overseas. There is a TV program on briefly earlier in the movie stating it went missing. So we just have to assume tons of manpower/equipment, or "witchcraft". They only weight 20 tons each lol.

Okay, I do not remember any of that. Just watched a clip and did not remember any of that either. I think I only saw this one time.

Definitely do a re-watch (unless you disliked it the first time), the movie is a blast.

Well, I said it jumped the shark 'a bit'

I just found that aspect of the plot a bit outlandish. The family who join the protagonists tonally clash a bit with the dark aspect of the film too. However, it's got such a unique plot (if you go with it) and Tom Atkins is great as always and Dan O'Herlihy in particular is a great villain.

They're the "Linda" or "Bud" of the film. You gotta have a little comic relief in a horror movie, at least of that era. I understand what you're saying, but there are quite a few tongue in cheek moments in the film. That's the fun, but I get you.

Ends was awful. Yes, I’m prepared to die on that hill. And I’d say having Michael Myers get his ass whooped and his mask wrestled off of him by a kid who got his ass kicked by marching band geeks is worse than the Uncle Boogeyman moment. And no, I repeat NO, 4 years isn’t gonna make that much of a difference seeing how he was old when he butchered half the friggin’ town in the last movie.

He totally "drove the franchise into the ground" by making 3 movies that far exceeded box office over every single entry in the series. And that's with each entry of the trilogy being available to stream the day of release. Drove it so far into the ground that companies were in a bidding war after Ends came out to make more of the series.

We get that you don't like it, and that's fine, but some did like it.

Love how Laurie spent 40 years being paranoid to the point of spending every waking moment preparing for him to return after he was locked up for 40 years, but now that he’s on the loose, butchered half the town and killed her daughter (!), she’s suddenly just chillin’.

Halloween Ends Pitch Meeting - YouTube
This gives off "My mommy thinks I'm tough" energy.

Plus, stop shilling Screen Rant's shit videos. No amount of posting them is even going to make people click on those abominable thumbnails.
