Dunno how people get Amazon to match. I’m having to return my $24.99 copy and buy another at $18.. it’s a hassle but times are tight.

Great movie, but I like the dvd cover art better. Not a fan of this artwork at all. It’s too monochromic.

Agree about the cover, which is the theatrical poster art, but the VHS and DVD covers are better.

Especially since more people saw this as a video rental back in the day, than at the box office.

I'm listening to it as I type this.

It's moderated by Michael Felsher, he's very good at asking all the pertinent questions. I didn't realise that the director Ernest Dickerson was the cinematographer on Malcolm X.

I actually had this on dvd from New Line Cinema in one of those awful cardboard snapper cases. The disc had a widescreen and a pan and scan version on it which suffered badly from compression and was in NTSC.

Watched the BluRay disc last night, the transfer is beautiful, the commentary is amazing, never imagined there was so much stuff happening behind the scenes of this. Really amazing release.
