Probably a long-shot, but I'm hoping Shout getting Mike Flanagan is a sign that perhaps they will release Ouija: Origin of Evil on 4K as well, wihh Flanagan involved. They released the weaker first film on 4K already, so hopefully this vastly superior prequel comes out too. I had dreamed years ago of other Flanagan films like Hush getting a BD (and 4K) from SF eventually too. Netflix lost the license to it earlier this year, and Flanagan said in a tweet he wants to release it on physical in the future.

I really liked Ouija: Origin of Evil. 10x better than the first. Hope it gets a UHD.

I find it funny the one that everyone hated got a 4K and the one everyone liked did not

The original deserves to be forgotten

I actually quite enjoyed the first one. Saw it on Netflix a while ago. I wasn't going to due to the many gripes of others, but I decided to give it my own opinion and I think it's worth a watch. Not sure it's worth buying. Just a watch.

Target currently has The Dead Zone 4K pre-order for $33.49, and it qualifies for their current Buy-2-Get-1-Free deal.

I just pre-ordered it along with pre-orders of Point Break 4K and Clue 4K, each for the same price and also qualifying for the Buy-2-Get-1.

Especially good deal, since on top of my 5% Red Card discount, I had a 5% birthday discount, as well as a $10 credit I'd earned. But even without those, it's still a better deal than the Amazon pre-orders.

I haven't watched this movie in a really long time. I sure hope people listen to him this time. He's just trying to help.

My copy just arrived. Don’t have time to watch the entire film as I have a Christmas party to go to, and don’t want to watch TOO much as I’ve never seen this before. But, after about 5-10 minutes, I can report that grain appears nice and tight and the detail is excellent. Haven’t spotted any f**kery with my naked eyes so far.

Thanks for the quick review that it seems to be a decent transfer.
It's a fantastic film - one if the best sci-fi thrillers out there.
Looking forward to watching this.
Trouble is I'm in the UK and by the time Amazon ship my copy it'll prob be early New Year
before it's in my paws.

Hopefully this will be a worthwhile upgrade on the previous excellent blu ray. I’m not DV enabled yet so that might reduce the immediate need.

Getting Scream Factory releases of Flanagan Netflix movies like Hush and Gerald's Game (which is already over six years old) would be amazing.
