If they had wanted to wrap it up with the previous one, they wouldn't have had Jason record Heather's conversation with her superiors, and then leave it where she could find it. That sets up a potential plotline to continue the series, instead of putting a proper cap on it.

I might be the only person who liked that movie, heh. Probably because I love that Greengrass style for this franchise.

I thought TLJ was too prominent an actor for his role though, I didn't love Nicky's fate, and that "Use SQL to hack their databases" line is just dumb... but damn it if I don't rewatch that one more than The Bourne Identity.

Granted it's the same old refrain but where JB was concerned, nothing wrong with retreading. Awesome flick! And the backstory about his origin I felt justified the "something new." Will never understand the lukewarm reaction this got.
