Fantastic news! I was worried I wouldn't get to see this before the OSCARS....Shame about the score in the intermission, but totally understandable... hopefully it'll be included in the physical disc for fans of the movie...

There is no PAL speed up on Blu-Rays now, especially on Universal releases.

The distributors tend to do this on classification submissions - IDK why, perhaps they sent in a DVD to the IFCO? And yes, the Blus themselves do not have PAL speedup.

Per JPC, Universal is releasing this on disc in Germany 4/17/25, which means the UK release will be on or before that date. A24 is TBD even after that B&N leak, I think.

Elevation delayed to 03/25/25.

Hopefully Elevation doesn’t pull a Zone of Interest scenario where there was just a harder to find 4K disc with no accompanying Blu Ray.

THE ZONE OF INTEREST is a limited release (only 2,000 units) that came out three months after A24's release, which in itself took longer than expected. THE BRUTALIST appears to not have a specific number of units being produced.

Unfortunately the digital listings (Apple, Fandango) have the runtime @ 3hrs 20min. Hopefully the UHD is the theatrical full intermission but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

BBFC says Universal cut it down for the physical release, so definitely expect A24 and Elevation to follow suit.

I think it's a mistake as VUDU has it at 201, and we already know Universal is cutting down the intermission.
