I'm not sure where the quote is from, but Ryan is the owner of Terror Vision so he would have knowledge of such things. I'm also pretty sure Brad from TV (who does their acquisitions) talked about locating the film elements a while ago.

Even if we did accept a basis of pure greed, wouldn’t they make more revenue and assumably profit by doing like a 50-60 dollar 4K set with 8-12k copies on October or November?

I doubt Iced sells 8-12k copies but I could be wrong.

I got the VS release but it stinks, would buy a proper release in a heartbeat.
