Movie Zyng finally shipped my preorder of Batman vs. Yakuza League (I guess they held it until Batman Ninja 4K was ready too (same order)). Surely any new copies of this movie being sent out have the corrected audio track, right?

Ordered a copy from Amazon at the end of May, just a few days before the site review went up - it didn't have the 5.1 DTS-HD MA audio.

Don't know if Warner are only issuing corrected versions on request or if they'll also eventually correct it at retail.

I watched it on Saturday with pizza. I only got to it now because I was waiting for Batman Ninja to come out so I could watch them close together. It's not really needed since this story mostly stands on its own. Although they did somewhat retcon the end of Batman Ninja when they come back and everything is normal. I called that out in the other review. This one is definitely the better movie though even though, even if it doesn't actually have any time travel. You also need to lave your disbelief at the door because the premise with Japan existing in a time warp above Gotham, and only the Bat family can see it, is a little much. But most of the movie takes place in Japan where you can ignore that. And it feels more like a Batman story than the first movie, needing to neutralize a Justice League gone rogue (he' had plans for that if needed, as he says). Wonder Woman is the highlight here. I wasn't a big fan of the depiction of Superman. Harley's great again, but she's only in a couple scenes. Joke is barely in it unfortunately.

Picture is pretty similar to the first movie. It's a little darker though since most of it is at night. First movie was more vibrant. But still a really good DV picture. I used headphones for the sound and that again was great. The specials (1080p) are again a couple of making of featurettes, but this time they're by the Japanese filmmakers. No panel discussion on this one. Definitely recommend giving the movie a watch even if you didn't like the first one. And it's a decent enough UHD.

So there are still some cheap 4k copies on Amazon in the used by Amazon resale section. Does anyone think that the MovieZyng replacement copy folks would have any issues with that? I think it's safe to assume I won't get a copy with upgraded audio, but I figure with it being Amazon and not some fly by night vendor, they will be okay with it being a "slightly" used copy. Just curious.
