Other than the large amount of compression from cramming too many episodes into a single disc, this looks overall really good. The only annoying thing I have seen is half the episode is blurry and half is way too sharp. It constantly flips from really great and sharp to very soft/blurry looking depending on the scene changes. Some episodes it hardly happens, others it happens quite a bit.

The opening and closing theme song have had no work done on them and they are just a very crappy looking scale, but I don't mind that too much. There are occasional short scenes that are also just like that, but they don't seem to be very frequent, nor do they last very long when they do happen.

Even with these downfalls, I still recommend getting this set. I just wish they would have used less compression and didn't cram so many episodes into each disc.

I’ve been enjoying this set over the past month or so now but the picture quality is very inconsistent. I’m guessing this must be inherent with the source material as I checked a Cartoon Network broadcast of an episode I’d seen some soft looking shots and the same issues were there too.

I must’ve blanked season six as I don’t remember the hilariously bad title sequence at all. The bit were Captain Planet says “I’m back” is so camp, my partner and I kept rewatching it as it was making us laugh so much.
