Ordered on July 22nd. Just got an email saying it's delayed and now arriving sometime between August 25th & Sept. 26th. Ugh.

I am curious if anyone has received an order cancelled notice. My shipped, should be here tomorrow, I ordered it as soon as it went live, literally as I believe they were posted up in the wee hours of the morning and I grabbed one, but was surprised pre-orders for the major retailers were up for about a week before selling out. With today being the release day I checked most of the online retailers appear to be out, thinking maybe they would have some stock for those who missed the pre-order but didn't see anyone having any in stock.

Received from Amazon in bubble mailer but still in mint. Shocking to get it on time in great condition.

Amazon just delivered mine along with Sinners steel book i ordered a month ago. That was a shocker. A little scrape on the bottom of the M&C SB tho. Not sure it's that big of deal ti make a fuss over tho. Especially since it's out of stock for now

I'm tempted. Mine arrived with a minor dent in the upper corner opposite the spine like the Amazon delivery guy chucked it and it landed there. Nice. But I was planning to keep the 4K disc in the zavvi blu-ray steelbook. The code worked and I've downloaded the digital copy. Will be spinning the disc in a few minutes to see the 4K and hear the Atmos! I'm so enthused, been waiting for this a long time!

Just got mine from Amazon in bubble mailer in Mint condition.Order it the moment it went up for sale.I have notice that since I have the Amazon Credit card I order these stillbooks and anything major that I really want I add card points to the order and it never fails to come to me.The more points the better.Don't know maybe they notice but it hasn't failed me yet.Try it.It might work for you.And I don't have prime.Order when the price is above $35.00 for free shipping.

In a shocking turn of events, my copy from Walmart actually arrived this week in one piece.

I haven't had a chance to open it yet, but it appears to be in decent shape at a first glance.

I really like how the steelbook looks in person.

My copy came today with a few other items so it was shipped in a box. Steelbook is mint but the 4K disc is scratched.

I think it's because of the Mexico disc manufacturing facility that presses the discs we get here in the US. In my opinion, the quality control over there has been poor in recent times.

A lot of members have reported scratched discs. Most recently, Thunderbolts was another new Disney release with scratched discs being reported by members on here.

My copy of Thunderbolts also had scratches as soon as I opened it.

Prices go up, but the QC goes down, it seems.

Unfortunately, I am very aware of the issues down in Mexico. It beyond ridiculous and a shame nothing is being done to combat the QC. What did you end up doing with your copy of Thunderbolts?

I have to check if the scratches affect playback.

If they don't, I will probably end up keeping it.

It's just unfortunate that we have to deal with this when these steelbooks are premium products in a sense.
