Anyhow, I have a Wii and I rarely play it. It is more of a "party" console when people are over. Its a nice party console

I cant complain, because I paid $200 to take it off my friend about 6 months ago. haha..

If I was at best buy and saw someone pick up a ps3 I wouldn't point and laugh, "I hope you don't plan on playing games on that. haahhahahaahhaah" Yeah right. People are so down to push their ideals onto other people in these forums. Who cares which is better to one person or the other. I love my ps3. As long as they keep coming out with quality games, I could care less who plays it. I have no interest in a Wii. Does it make a bad console? Of course not. Jeez people. Relax.

I will take this lineup over anything the Wii can throw at it. Not all of these games are for everybody, but there is no way you can come up with a Wii line up with that many games which will not have several which are extremely marginal.

If you start including Virtual Console games in, then you have to include PS2 games as well...and unless you are an extreme Zelda/Mario/Metroid fanatic the PS2 will win that battle.

I've personally spent more time playing Rock Band than I have on all Wii games I own combined. Take that as you will.

My sentiments exactly. I am a happy owner of a PS3 myself. Now I may not like or want a 360 or a Wii, but something we need to realize is that each one has it's own virtues so to speak. Now I do agree that the PS3 does have issues with online gaming, but as time goes on we will see it improve. Does it have a less than stellar line up? Well that depends on the person and their gaming preference. They have a great line up this year in my opinion. Now as far as the 360, it's main strongpoint is online gaming, which is why most who have bought the system use it for that main reason. Aside from that they in my opinion, just don't have any games that I see personally as being 'must own' titles. Yes I have played games on it, my brother has a 360, but to me personally they just didn't do anything for me. When it comes to the Wii, Nintendo is known more for being a family friendly console. Add the price into the factor and of course it will sell big. Not to mention the franchise games most people know such as Super Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. Let's not forget the controls as well, which while some see as not being great, others find innovative. Obviously they must have done something right if they use it in Nursing and Retirement communites, as they have found it stimulates their minds and hearts. Not to mention the classics that you can download too. Every system has it's strongpoints and weaknesses, and we all have our preferences. But to argue with someone who doesn't agree with your opinion to me seems pointless and moot. If you have all three and love all three that's great. If you only own system, that's fine too. But to not like a system based solely on the company is a bit redundant in my eyes. Sorry if my rant went on a little long, but I had to get it off my chest. Enjoy your day peeps.
